Welcome to the web site of the Wissahickon Democrats.  Our area encompasses all of the municipalities that are part of the Wissahickon School District:

• Ambler Borough
• Lower Gwynedd Township
• Whitpain Township - including Blue Bell, chosen as one of the Top 100 Places in 2005 [#14] to live in the US in Money Magazine

Each of these townships has been divided into voting districts, and in all, we have 20 polling places.  Please go to the link  Polling Places (FAQ) to see our list.  Every four years we elect two committee people for each of these voting districts or polling places.  You may find out the names of your committee people by going to the link Contacts.

We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM in the meeting room of the Harleysville Bank Building in Spring House [Directions].  We welcome our fellow Democrats to our meetings.

Our primary goals are to elect Democrats at all levels of government and to advance the causes of the Democratic Party in our area by energizing our members and increasing Democratic voter registration.  Our web site is designed to inform our voters about important events, to provide information about our political candidates, to broaden our volunteer base, and to connect you to important links.  We hope that you frequent our web site and pass our information on to more Democrats in our area.
