Wissahickon Democratic Committee
Scholarship Award

The use of the recipient's photograph does not imply the recipient is in agreement with the contents of this site nor the Wissahickon Democratic Committee.

2009

The recipient of the 5th Good Citizenship Award requested, in a signed letter in the Ambler Gazette, that he remain anonymous.

2007

Our 3rd recipient was Malin Hu.

She will be attending Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Here is Malin Hu's note of thanks:

Thank you very much for your sponsorship of the Wissahickon Democrats Good Citizen Scholarship. I was very honoured to be this year's recipient: awareness of the issues preoccupying our country and world has always been of the greatest importance to me.

In the world of university and beyond, I hope to turn awareness into action and to truly pursue the responsibilities of citizenship.

2006

Our 2nd recipient was Andrew Kamerosky.

Andrew went to Dickinson College in the Fall and ended up interning in the Mike Gerber campaign.

2005

Our 1st recipient, Mr. Stone, went to American University in Washington, D.C. to pursue a major in International Studies.

David sent us a great note thanking us for making him the first recipient of the scholarship.
